Local Land Charges in North Devon
North Devon still runs its own register and is mid-migration to the national one with no date announced, so who supplies the search here is about to change. A full search is £65, but a property inside Exmoor National Park costs 89 because the Park is its own planning authority and the council has to go to it. That is a genuine local premium and it applies to part of the district, not all of it.
How Long a Search Actually Takes in North Devon
The best published turnaround in this research, by a distance. North Devon says its searches are normally all returned within one working day, that Exmoor National Park properties take two to three days, and that it has not taken longer than five working days for a full North Devon search in over fifteen years. Compare Cornwall's 10 working days rising to 20 at peak, and Bristol's silence.
