Flete House

Holbeton, South Hams, Devon · Grade I listed · 29 retirement apartments

Flete House is a Grade I listed country house at Holbeton in the South Hams. With roots in Saxon times, the Manor of Flete was held by the Damarell family from 1066 until the time of Edward III. The earliest part of the house dates from the sixteenth century, and was substantially rebuilt around 1620 for Sir Charles Hele.

In 1878 the architect Richard Norman Shaw undertook extensive building works for Henry Bingham Mildmay, remodelling and extending the house, while retaining the sixteenth and seventeenth century house to the south west. Today Flete House comprises 29 retirement apartments.

Ocean Crescent

Ocean Crescent is a modern residential landmark in Plymouth city centre, known for its curved façade overlooking The Crescent and its close proximity to Millbay, the Pavilions and the waterfront. Originally developed as a high-density apartment block, it comprises around 122 flats, including studios, one-beds, two-beds and several duplex penthouses with city and coastal views.

Following a £1 million refurbishment led by Burrington Estates, the building received upgraded communal areas, refreshed interiors and cosmetic exterior improvements, repositioning it as a desirable urban living space. Ocean Crescent stands as a prominent city-centre apartment building combining modern living, strong transport links and ongoing redevelopment within Plymouth’s wider regeneration zone.

Discovery Wharf & Harbourside Court

North Quay and Hawkers Avenue, Sutton Harbour, Plymouth

Discovery Wharf is a waterfront apartment building on North Quay at Sutton Harbour, its curved, glass-fronted balconies stepping up above the marina. Residents have the use of an indoor swimming pool and spa pool within the building.

Harbourside Court sits close by on Hawkers Avenue, also on Sutton Harbour. PBM manages both developments, looking after the communal areas, shared facilities and the ongoing maintenance and compliance each building requires.

Admiralty Row East

Mount Wise, Plymouth · 18 residential apartments

Admiralty Row East is a development of 18 apartments in a former MOD housing building at Mount Wise, next to Leeward House. PBM took on its management in April 2026.

One of the first pieces of work was a clean of the external render, which had become heavily stained. The photographs below show the building before and after.

The Gardens

Stuart Road, Plymouth

The Gardens is a residential development on Stuart Road in Plymouth: brick-built apartment blocks arranged around shared walkways, a communal drying area and a bin store.

PBM manages the development’s communal areas. The before and after photographs below show the shared walkways, boundary walls and drying area once they had been cleaned.

Rialto Court

Porthpean Road, St Austell, PL25 4PN

Rialto Court is a residential block on Porthpean Road in St Austell, with a curved, Art Deco style frontage, porthole windows and a private car park.

The exterior was repainted over the summer of 2026. PBM looks after the communal areas and shared elements of the building, keeping it well presented and well maintained for the residents who live there.

Polmear Apartments

Charlestown, St Austell · on the same estate as Waterwheel Apartments

Polmear Apartments is a stone-built development at Charlestown, on the same estate as Waterwheel Apartments. The two-storey buildings, with their balconies and pitched roofs, are set around a cobbled courtyard and planted beds.

PBM provides property management services at Polmear Apartments, supporting the upkeep of the shared courtyard, grounds and communal elements of the estate.

Brunel Mews

Saltash, Cornwall · 3 blocks on the estate

Brunel Mews is an estate of three apartment blocks in Saltash, finished in stone and render and set around communal lawns and planting.

PBM took over the management of the estate from the previous managing agent. We look after the communal hallways and stairwells, the grounds and the shared elements of all three blocks.

Royal Albert Court

Saltash, Cornwall

Royal Albert Court is a residential development in Saltash, with a central archway through to its car park and apartments arranged along both wings.

As part of our management of the building, PBM carries out weekly fire alarm testing, alongside the day-to-day upkeep of the communal areas.
