Local Land Charges in Plymouth
Plymouth moved its local land charges register to the national one on 7 January 2022, earlier than any other council in this research, so an LLC1 goes to HM Land Registry and Plymouth sells only the CON29, at 92 pounds. One caution if you are checking the fee table yourself: it is internally inconsistent, giving 14 pounds for each optional enquiry submitted with a CON29R and, a few lines later, 10 pounds per question plus a 12 pound processing fee for the same enquiries submitted independently. Both cannot be right.
How Long a Search Actually Takes in Plymouth
Plymouth publishes 10 working days for a CON29. That is a published standard you can hold the council to, which is more than Bristol offers and slower than North Devon's one working day.
